I'm collaging again. It's always been a source of new imagery. It is interesting how the print makers were compelled to arranged the birds and the different costumes. It's so ordered and idealized despite it's agonized attempts at naturalism. The bird is on a patch of grass, it's habitat and the men are in a drawing room, theirs. Part of me enjoys the idealization. I like reorganizing it to create my own type of order.
