Chang'e: The Woman Who Lives on the oon

     This apparently is Chang'e. The woman who drank an elixir of immortality and floated away to live on the moon. She now lives there with her friend Jade Rabbit who makes moon cakes. There are many versions of this story, some emphasizing Chang'e's curiosity, her husbands ambition or their mutual devotion. Here are some links to a few:
